Our History
Our plan is to link boys and girls as well as whole families to meet their appointed GG, a grandparent gifted to them. By giving a Grand we hope to add to each life; guidance, love, understanding, and most all just a person to call on be there. Seeing a need for families and the community in this area, LaShanhey formed this organization to provide sensible solutions. We plan to grow and grow.

Our Mission
To give back the missing piece. Our first mission is to get at least ten women and men that are willing to commit to one child each and become a honorary GG” .... to be whatever that child or family needs right now in life, rather it’s dinner on Sundays, breakfast on Saturday’s or even help with homework or movies at your house on Friday. Children just need to know we care.
